Dr. Dorothy Moon is a psychotherapist who earned her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) from the University of Denver. She has been practicing psychotherapy for five years and has a variety of experience and training working with adults, adolescents, children, families and couples in many different settings. Her specialties include trauma recovery, stress management, anxiety, relationship issues, cultural issues, and integrating spirituality in therapy.
Dr. Moon has published several articles in Asian Avenue Magazine and has presented her research on Asian Americans and mental health at the Colorado-Wyoming Counseling Center Conference.
Dr. Moon is committed to understanding her clients deeply and meeting them wherever they are in their life circumstances. Working together, in a safe and trusting relationship, clients will have the opportunity to heal from the past, change in the present, and grow for the future.
